The email I received stated the problem was in my hardware and that I needed to correct this in order for the device to run properly. I contacted Targus support and they had to get back to me with an update since the USB 3.0 dock was new. As for the Ethernet connection, it only connects at 100Mb and not 1Gb. Setting the refresh rate at 75 MHz did not correct the flicker or missing pixels. My monitor had much flicker and missing pixels (it was running 1920 x 1080). I am sorry to say that the unit does not support either of these. Targus advertises that the USB 3.0 docking station supports monitors up to 2048 x 1150 display mode and 1 GB Ethernet. I then connected the video using the DVI connector to my Samsung Syncmaster 245BW monitor and a Cat-5 Ethernet cable to my Linksys E4200 router. I connected the Targus USB 3.0 docking station to my HP Pavilion dv7t system and Windows loaded the drivers onto my system.
